
Full color LED electronic screens are widely used in different occasions, such as in squares, stadiums, hotels, supermarkets and so on. Wherever we are in the public area, we can see a LED electronic screen. In view of its importance, here comes the topic that how we could extend its life-span and keep its brightness at a higher level in years.
For the issue being solved, it will reply on three factors. They are power supply, LED diode and heat dissipation.
A. Power supply quality
It requires the power supply to be highly efficient and stable. In the LED electronic screens industry, the power supply usually comes with 5v constant current output. While power supplies of poor quality come with unstable output of voltage when in use. The unstable voltage will result in many dead pixels on the led screens, or even cause a fire to the Full color LED electronic screens.
B.LED diode
LED diodes are the most important parts to LED electronic screens. Because it takes up the largest portion of the cost of a led screen. The quality of the led diode decides the brightness and then the life-span of a led screen under certain circumstances. Furthermore, to deice if a led diode is good or not, it relies on the gold wire or copper wire inside or the way of the LED being packaged.

C. Heat Dissipation
Most of the problems in Full color LED electronic screens are caused by high heat. For example, the problem of luminance declining, dead pixels and led module’s malfunction etc. Theoretically Heat can be delivered by convection, radiation, and thermal conduction. When it comes to the design of the led cabinet, there is ventilation slot for the convection. Or they use led cabinet itself as thermal conduction to dissipate the heat in some design. But the design could only help part of it. Still, the led diodes take a great of responsibility to dissipate the heat.
All in all, these three factors need to be working well with each other and ensure a longer life-span for a led screen.
